What Does Valentine's Day Mean to Me? #sharing

Fourteenth of February?
Honestly, the first thing that crosses my mind is "Valentine's Day". How about you guys?
Some people choose this date to marry, to start a love relationship, or to do exchange gift.

Now, I'm trying to find what does Valentine's Day mean to me.

I don't know exactly the history of Valentine's Day, cause there are some versions of story.
Nowadays, we see that Valentine's Day is the day to give presents, chocolates, flowers etc to those we love.
As I see in my life, a boy will give a cute pink doll to his girlfriend, and best friends will give chocolate each other. I used to do "exchange chocolate" with my friends in elementary school and junior high. In senior high, I just gave my Valentine's presents to my 3 best friends that I really love and care about. I also did exchange gift with my English course friends. After that, no more giving and receiving gifts...

The pink dolls, the chocolates, and the flowers are just symbols. We can give without loving, but we cannot love without giving. Not just giving presents, but giving joy, happiness, care, attention etc. For a couple, today is a sweet day for them. The may have dinner together, watch movie in theater, and give present each other. How about the "single" people? It will be different cause there's no special person to celebrate the day with. But, it doesn't mean that single people don't have to be happy in this day. We don't have to be in a relationship to celebrate the Valentine's Day. We're not alone in this world. We have our parents, sisters or brothers, and friends to share the love. I wanna ask you, how it feels when you celebrate the Valentine's Day with your sweetheart? I never felt that. When will I enjoy such moment like that? :)

For me, Valentine's Day is just a day. We should spread the love everyday, not just in Valentine's Day. Every moment in our lives is the moment to love and to be loved.

We're born by love. We're cared by love. We're protected by love. We're blessed by love. All because of love. LOVE is the biggest of all...
Remember! God loves us more than we could ever think, but do we love Him like He loves us?
Please think about it guys. We're too busy to love our boyfriend or girlfriend, but do we remember to love God that has sacrificed His life for us? It's the BIGGEST LOVE EVER! (John 3:16)
