Deutschland Nationalmannschaft (The National Team of Germany)

Yes, I know that they are back home bow, but I want to share many stories about them :)

(Germany depart from Warsaw airport following their defeat by Italy in the semi-final of UEFA EURO 2012)

By the way, who is a fan of Germany National Team?
I am!! And of course there are many out there...
Are you guys still "galau"? Hahaha!! No need to be sad anymore. They have played well, they're just not lucky :(

As huge fans of Germany, who doesn't want to see them hold the trophy together? But there's only one trophy. So, not all supporters in the world will see their favorite team bring the trophy home, because it only belongs to the team that wins in the final round. The supporters of Germany must be patient (again and again) this time...

I want to share a my story about meine Lieblings Nationalmannschaft, Deutschland. I've been a fan of them since 2002, when they participated the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Korea-Japan (It's been 10 years!).
I was a nine year old girl that didn't know anything about football. All the people in my house watched the match seriously but I just passed them by. Some day, Germany played and I don't know why I was watching there. I just looked at the players, and the first two Germany players I knew was Michael Ballack and Miroslav Klose. Then, I started to admire Klose because for me he is handsome *,*
It was really fun that a nine year old girl started to fall for a 24 year old boy, haha!!

Klose scored 5 goals for Germany that time. Unfortunately in the final round, they were beaten by Brazil (2-0) :'( That time they got two awards, the Golden Ball Winner and the Yashin Award that went to their goalkeeper, Oliver Kahn.
Since then, I started to interested in FIFA World Cup Championship. At 2006, Germany was the host of that event. I was so happy that Germany was closer to the "trophy" that time. Unfortunately, they were beaten by Italy (2-0) in the semi-final. It's so embarrassing to remember that I cried a little bit because of that. But my favorite player, Miroslav Klose was the Golden Boot Winner because he was the top scorer with 5 goals. Another award for Germany was Best Young Player that went to Lukas Podolski. They got the 3rd position after beating Portugal 3-1, which the two goals were scored by Bastian Schweisnteiger and the another one was an own goal by Petit. It's okay then :)
Two years after that, the UEFA Euro Championship 2008 was held in Austria-Swiss. I was still a fan of Germany and really hoped that they could be the champion. But, they were not lucky enough that time. They were beaten by Spain (1-0) in the final round. Hmmm... :'(
At 2010, the FIFA World Cup was held in South Africa. I always have the same wish that I want to see my favorite team to WIN! But, it didn't happen. They were beaten by Spain (again!) in the semi-final. They just got the 3rd place after beating Uruguay (2-3). A young Germany player, Thomas Müller got two awards that time, which were Golden Boot and Best Young Player (y)

One of my wishes in 2012 is to see Germany wins the Euro Championship. But........yeah you know what happened in the semi-final. They were outplayed by Italy (1-2). "Vielen Dank" to Mesut Özil for your nice  penalty kick. At least, you scored a goal before going home :(

They played very well until the quarter final (they beat Greece with score 4-2)  but I must say that they didn't show their good performance at the semi-final. That's why they lost :'( I must admit that Italy played very well. It was like they know the weakness of Germany. So, it's not had for them to score 2 goals and win...

This year, there are some new young players chosen by Johachim Löw. He does rejuvenation, so the young players will get used to such big championship like this. Mario Gomez used to replace Klose in the previous matches, but now Klose is the one who replaces him. That's what we call regeneration! I really wish in the next event (FIFA World Cup 2014), they will give their fans a sweet surprise!! :D

Von Spiel zu Spiel zum grossen Ziel
This statement was written on their bus, which means "From game to game to large target" <-- am I right? :D
